Description

Europa Nostra launched a qualitative consultation among Members and Partners on 26 March 2020. The longer-term objective of this consultation is to use the collected information as a basis for our advocacy work towards the European Union and its Member States, as well as towards regional and local authorities and other international organisations. This advocacy strategy, conducted jointly with our members and partners, aimed to ensure that cultural heritage is duly included in Europe’s immediate response to the COVID-19 crisis as well as in the long-term recovery plans, including the European Union’s recovery instrument ‘Next Generation EU’.
The document analyses and summarises the results of this consultation and makes concrete proposals to support the cultural heritage world in the aftermath of the pandemic, including through existing EU instruments and those proposed within the ‘Next Generation EU’ recovery plan
